Elizabeth Vidon

I am a former academic turned ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Certified Career Management Coach (CCMC), and Certified Emergenetics Associate. Emergenetics is a powerful tool for clients who wish to learn more about how they think and behave and how that translates into ways they can work better and more efficiently and effectively with others.

As an academic, I researched authenticity; specifically, the ways people looked for it and experiences of it in nature and wilderness. As a coach, I get to see my clients actually find it in themselves through the coaching process. I coach through connecting with others; helping them grow, actualize their goals, and be the people they want to be. I coach the whole person, not just the professional part. The outcome of this approach is a clear, rich, wholly realized vision of who you want to be in life, without internal contradiction or tension.

Among others, I help clients who wish to sharpen their skills in clear communication and collaboration, improve their ability to delegate and manage their commitments, struggle with imposter syndrome and aim to feel and act more confident, and who find themselves in a “rut” but don’t know how to move forward. I am a Certified Career Management Coach and I offer career coaching, career strategy planning, help with resumes, bios, networking skills, interviewing skills, and negotiating skills.

I hold a Ph.D. in Geography & Landscape Studies from Indiana University, an MA in Geography from York University in Toronto, ON, and a B.A. in Spanish & Geography from Appalachian State University in North Carolina. I live in Reno, Nevada with my husband, daughter, and three dogs.
